About Holbeck Food Bank
Our Mission
Holbeck Food Bank is a food distribution service providing crisis food parcels to individuals and families in Holbeck and Leeds 11. We work on a referral basis, to provide food for those who are in immediate need and cannot currently provide food for themselves.
Holbeck Food Bank is a project supported by The Christian Churches in Holbeck. Together as the Church we are passionate about demonstrating God’s love to the community by caring for people.
Delivery
Unfortunately, there are only two volunteers at the moment, which means that deliveries are not always going to be on the same day, but we will try to deliver within 24 hours.
. Delivery will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 1pm and before 3pm when volunteers are available, and only two attempts will be made. Clients will be contacted before delivery. Please see important notes below. This Foodbank will close permantley on 1st October 2026
Referrals
Holbeck Food Bank cannot accept any of the help through hardship referrals because of the size and lack of volunteers. Over the years from 2013 we have helped many people and supplied food to over 11500 mouths of which 3500 were children. thank you to all who have helped and supported us over the years.
Area Delivered To
Unfortunately we are only able to serve people living in the Leeds 11 area. To find out about food banks that serve other areas in Leeds, please try The Trussel Trust or Leeds Food Aid Network.

Important Notices
Due to unexpected health issues this food bank will CLOSE on 1st October 2026 and deliveries will be made if we have stock. up to that date we are winding down when stock and money run out. we may not be able to fullfill some claims. We have been going for 13 years and as we get older we have to give up. Leeds Food AidNetwork may be of help.
